One of the problems with sequels is that, expectations keep rising after each release, And living up to it is understandably difficult. Well, thats what I could infer from Spiderman-3....
The amount of hype given isn't justified though, and '3' clearly loses out to its prequels..
But what more can we expect from a super-hero movie....couple of scenes with high-end graphical effects , a few scenes of sarcastic comedy , a few romantic scenes and a few for insisting on responsibilities? Spidey-3 fits this bill perfectly.
What I liked?
Some good visual effects for 'Sand-man', the title reel which had a good mix of scenes from its prequels and glossy grafix
What I don like?
Why is there a misconception that, Its only the body-build of the hero works in a super-hero movie? If the looks of the heroine was too boring like this , I am afraid super-heroes will keep losing out in their love-life.
Taking on 1,2,3 villains seems to be a thing to bring anyone to their seat-corner, But it didn't work that way.
What I recommend?
If you are not hesitant of absence of logic, but only particular about some good mix of visual effects and heroics then Sp-3 is a treat to watch. For others though , It may be yet another summer time puller.
PS: The 2nd heroine ... eh........ was beautiful....couldn't see her in that small role... Sam Raimi .. Consider changing your casting director :)
Thanks so much for reading !!!
